About Sequoyah Baptist Church

Around 1948, Sequoyah Baptist Church was established and started meeting at the Sequoyah’s School house. As time went by, they were able to obtain the property right in front of the school, which is our current location, and about 1970 started construction of the newer building.

Today, we are still located on the historic Route 66, and have grown into two buildings, housing our classrooms, worship center, fellowship hall and children/youth ministry classrooms.
